Institutional development

The Board will focus, between 2022 and 2024, on developing DEVASEC as an effective, sustainable and innovative organization, in particular in the following areas:

1. Human Resources and Development

  • Develop progressive, gender-sensitive human resources policies that reflect the values of the organization
  • Invest in staff well-being and professional development

2. Organizational Structure and Growth

  • Grow the organizational through sustaining and developing strong partnerships with main donors
  • Work in collaboration with other international, regional and national organizations who complement our work and share our vision and values

3. Governance and Accountability

  • Strengthen financial accounting practices and systems
  • Regularly review progress on the Strategy

4. Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning

  • To establish monitoring, evaluation and learning capacity and systems
  • Decide on how we document and communicate the impact of our work
  • Create space, time and resources for learning
  • To cultivate an organizational culture of innovation, including by carrying-out pilot projects
